Shipping by ReturnZap Overview
What is Shipping by ReturnZap?
Shipping by ReturnZap allows you to purchase return shipping directly through ReturnZap, without the need to connect a third party shipping integration.
With Shipping by ReturnZap, you fund a wallet by using a linked bank account or credit card. These funds are used to purchase shipping labels in ReturnZap.
Shipping by ReturnZap provides access to discounted rates from major shipping carriers.
Supported Markets and Carriers
Shipping by ReturnZap currently supports returns which originate in the following countries:
- USA
- Canada
Supported carriers include:

Support for returns which originate in the following countries will be coming in Q4 2025:
- United Kingdom
- The European Union

Enabling Shipping by ReturnZap
To enable Shipping by ReturnZap, navigate to ReturnZap Settings > Shipping. Shipping by ReturnZap will appear as an option once you enable Prepaid shipping labels.
Select the toggle to use Shipping by ReturnZap, and click "Manage" to fund and view your balance.
Once enabled, you will see a link to manage Shipping by ReturnZap from the primary ReturnZap settings page.
Adding and Managing Payment Methods
When you first enable Shipping by ReturnZap you will be prompted to set a default currency for your wallet. This currency will be the default used for all payments and cannot be changed once set.

Shipping by ReturnZap currently supports the following wallet currencies:
- USD
- GBP
- EUR
If labels are purchased from a carrier which bills in a currency other than your wallet currency, ReturnZap will automatically convert the label charge and debit your wallet balance in your wallet currency.
You can manage your payment methods using the Payment methods interface.
Initial Balance and Auto Reload
You can view your current balance at any time by navigating to the Shipping by ReturnZap page.
To manually add funds, click the Add funds button, enter a funding amount, and select your preferred method of payment.
Funds added using credit cards will be charged a 3.75% processing fee. Funds added by bank account are not charged any additional fees.
Note that funds added via bank account may take 2-3 business days to clear and become available.
Auto reload
You may optionally set up auto-reload logic. With auto reload, the reload amount will be automatically charged to your default payment method when your balance minimum is reached.
Viewing Transaction History
The Shipping by ReturnZap page displays a full transaction history. The transaction list will display a list of all funding added to your ReturnZap balance as well as all label charges billed to your account.
Clicking the details icon in the top right of the transactions page will expand the list to provide more information about each transaction, including the RMA number associated with each label purchase.

Can I see rates for a test shipment?
This functionality is coming soon. Please contact ReturnZap support to inquire about example shipping rates.
Cancelling and refunding labels
Shipping by ReturnZap does not yet support automatically voiding or cancelling labels. Contact ReturnZap support if you need to cancel a shipping label.
Refunding your balance
You can request a refund of your unused Shipping by ReturnZap balance at any time. Contact ReturnZap support to arrange a refund.
When will additional markets be added?
Support for additional markets and carriers is expected in Q4 2025. Options will include:
