Connecting Shipstation to ReturnZap

What does ReturnZap's integration with Shipstation do?
ReturnZap integrates with Shipstation to allow shops to use an existing Shipstation account to generate return shipping labels.
ReturnZap will use the shipping services connected to your Shipstation account to automatically create a return shipping label. This avoids any manual steps and allows you to complete automate the process of creating and sending return labels to customers who request a return through the ReturnZap portal.
Connecting Shipstation to ReturnZap
ReturnZap connects to Shipstation using the Shipstation V1 API.
Please contact support@returnzap.com to configure your Shipstation integration.
To expedite the connection, please provide the following pieces of information:
- Shipstation V1 API Key
- Shipstation V1 API Secret
- Preferred shipping carrier(s)
- Preferred shipping service levels
ReturnZap will retrieve shipping rates from Shipstation before purchasing a shipping label. Rates for enabled services will be compared as part of ReturnZap's "rate shopping" logic, and the cheapest option will be selected.
ReturnZap can also be configured to display multiple shipping options within the returns portal, and to allow the end customer to choose between enabled service.
Shipstation Integration Details
Manual store must be active
In order to generate standalone return shipping labels you must have at least one active manual store in your Shipstation account. Instructions to create a manual store can be found here:

No return specific service
The ReturnZap / Shipstation integration does not currently allow for return specific shipping services. All labels will be created using an outbound shipping service.
No real time tracking updates
The ReturnZap / Shipstation integration does not currently allow for real time return tracking updates to be synced back to ReturnZap. You will still have access to tracking links, but real time updates are not available via the ReturnZap interface and will not be available for automations.
